Kansas State University continues to provide updates in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The following is a summary of announcements from Jan. 18-21.

Updates continue to be posted on the COVID-19 website, which includes guidance and frequently asked questions about the return to university campuses. 

Changes in COVID-19 reporting announced.
Following recently announced changes in quarantine and isolation protocols, K-State has updated the COVID-19 dashboard. The university also will suspend support for contract tracing efforts.

Expanded over-the-counter COVID-19 testing options are available.
Both the State Employee Health Plan and the federal government have announced expanded access to reduced or no-cost at-home and over-the-counter COVID-19 testing options.

Adjustment to COVID-19 absence verification process.
Due to the expected increase in COVID-19 related absences, the absence verification process is changing. Students will be responsible for providing initial communication to instructors if a COVID-19 related absence is needed.

K-Staters can get COVID-19 vaccines and booster shots at multiple locations.
