Wayne Goins, university distinguished professor of music, conducted an exclusive interview with guitarist Dan Wilson, a performing and recording artist whose level of excellence has gotten the attention of the top luminaries in the jazz world. The interview was featured in the January 2022 issue of Jazz Guitar Today, the premier online journal for jazz guitar enthusiasts all around the world.

Goins, a contributing writer to the magazine, regularly publishes a wide variety of pieces, including exclusive jazz artist profiles, CD reviews and articles focused on jazz education.

Faculty in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance have received Grammy awards and nominations, and Emmy awards; produced recordings on international and national CD labels and published books and journal articles with international and national publishing houses and professional organizations; and performed and presented research in every continent in the world except Antarctica.
