Participants needed for nutrition research study

Submitted by Anna Biggins

K-State researchers are recruiting participants for a study how different types of starches are digested and the impact of starch beverage consumption on metabolic health.  Participants have the opportunity to learn about their health, earn $120 and receive a free DXA scan.

Participants must be between the ages of 18 and 64; willing to drink starch drinks in our lab setting; and available to commit to seven separate visits over three weeks. Each visit will last about three hours. All visits will take place at the Physical Activity and Nutrition Clinical Research Consortium on the third floor of the Lafene Health Center building.

If you are interested in participating, please complete the interest screener to see if you meet some of our initial inclusion criteria. Take the online screener.

If you have questions, contact Anna Biggins at abiggins15@k-state.edu or Alissa Towsley at atows@k-state.edu
