Mindfulness Practice for De-polarizing Cultural Conflict workshop offered Feb. 14

Submitted by Human Capital Services - Learning and Development

Mindfulness Practice for De-polarizing Cultural Conflict, WTD221, will be offered from 1:30-2:45 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, in 123 Leadership Studies Building.

Intercultural leaders use mindfulness to be present and attuned to themselves, others and intercultural conflict that might arise. Participants will learn mindfulness skills to stay engaged even when they are uncomfortable. These skills can be used in our daily lives to notice how we might be responding to situations and people. Meditative and socio-cognitive mindfulness help to increase the capacity for intercultural leaders to build bridges across differences.

To register for this session, you can either sign up through HRIS Self-Service or send an email to Megan Eakin at learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu. When sending an email, please include your name, employee ID, course title, and course number, WTD221.
