Submitted by Daniel Kuester

The Economics Club, a registered departmental student organization, will host Matthew Rousu, dean of the Sigmund Weis School of Business at Susquehanna University. Rousu will present "Misled! False Economic Assumptions Used to Expand Government" at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, in Regnier Forum. The talk is open to the public. A reception will follow at Union Station by JP's.

Rousu's talk is part of the annual Economics Club Lecture Series on Economic Prosperity. Rousu is also the author of the book "Broadway and Economics: Economic Lessons from Showtunes" and the Broadway Economics website.  His teaching suggestions and innovations demonstrated on the Broadway Economics website are used by economics instructors across the nation.
