Dean of College of Veterinary Medicine candidate finalists

The search committee announces three finalists who will interview for dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine and invite you to attend the open forums presented by each candidate.  

  • Terry Lehenbauer, professor and associate dean and director of the Veterinary Medicine Teaching and Research Center in the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California, Davis, will interview April 29-30. The open forum will be 2:30-3:45 p.m. on April 29 in Frick Auditorium of Mosier Hall.
  • Christopher Cebra, professor and chair of the clinical sciences department in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Oregon State University, will interview May 2-3. The open forum will be 2:30-3:45 p.m. on May 2 in Frick Auditorium of Mosier Hall.
  • Bonnie Rush, professor and interim dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University, will interview May 6-7. The open forum will be 2:30-3:45 p.m. on May 6 in Frick Auditorium of Mosier Hall. 

K-Staters are encouraged to review the application materials and attend each open forum and Q&A session titled "My Vision to Advance the K-State College of Veterinary Medicine in Education, Research, Service and Outreach." 

Application materials and itinerary for each candidate are available on the Office of the Provost search website. Please be prepared to enter your K-State eID and password to access the information. For those unable to attend in person, the open forums will be streamed live and archived on the provost's search website. There also will be an online candidate feedback survey on that website.  

Oral or written feedback on the candidates also may be directed to members of the search committee

Please provide feedback no later than Friday, May 10.
