Saxophone professor performs and teaches throughout England

Wytko with students in England

Anna Marie Wytko, associate professor of saxophone, recently completed a concert and teaching tour throughout England.

Wytko presented solo concerts and teaching workshops at institutions including the Royal Conservatory of Music in London, Trinity Laban Conservatory of Music in London and the Royal Birmingham Conservatory of Music. Wytko led classes related to saxophone and woodwind pedagogy as well as coached students on major solo and chamber music repertoire.

Faculty in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance have received Grammy Awards and Nominations, and Emmy Awards; produced recordings on international and national CD labels; published books and journal articles with international and national publishing houses and professional organizations; and performed and presented research in every continent in the world, except Antarctica.
