Submitted by Kerry Priest

Bryan Samuel

K-State's What Matters to Me and Why speaker series will return this fall on Thursday, Sept. 6.

Bryan Samuel, chief diversity and inclusion officer, will be the featured speaker. Samuel will share stories from his personal and professional journey in a talk titled, "Access, Opportunity and Community: Why The Drive To 60% Is Critical For Kansas" from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, in Town Hall at the Leadership Studies Building.

A free box lunch will be provided starting at 11:45 a.m. An RSVP is requested by Sept. 4. Visit the website to read full event description and sign up.

This informal lunchtime series supports K-State's Principles of Community by encouraging reflection on matters of personal values, beliefs, and motivations to better understand the lives and inspirations of those who serve and shape the university. The event is co-sponsored by the Staley School of Leadership Studies, the College of Education, and the College of Architecture, Planning & Design.
