Update on provost search

The search for a new provost has advanced into its final stages, according to Peter Dorhout, vice president for research and search committee chair. The university is in the negotiation phase.
"We appreciate the patience folks have shown during this very thorough process," said President Richard B. Myers. "The committee delivered an excellent slate of candidates and we are nearing completion of the search. We thank Peter and the search committee for their dedication and effort in this important task."
