DAS 460 - Advanced Trial Advocacy
Trial teams will spend the semester preparing to try the American Mock Trial Association's 2008-09 case, which will be a civil case.Through an in-depth, hands-on approach to preparing a complex case for trial, students will learn advanced theories of persuasion and legal communication.Each student will participate in at least one class mock trial. If there is sufficient interest from qualified students, top students from the class may be invited to participate in an intercollegiate mock trial competition.More information about AMTA is available at:www.collegemocktrial.org.
Prerequisites: SPCH 260 or instructor permission.
