Welcome to the GROW Program at K-State
2022-2023 Update
KAWSE takes health and safety very seriously. While GROW is hosting events in-person the year, we will continue to monitor the on-going COVID-19 pandemic and will follow all guidance from the university, KDHE and CDC. KAWSE staff can be reached Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM by emailing kawse@k-state.edu, calling 785-532-6088, or stopping by our physical office located at 215 Fairchild.
Girls Researching Our World (GROW) is designed for all students in 6th - 8th grades. The goal of the program is to increase girls' interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines.
Students of all genders are welcome to participate in hands-on activities presented by undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff. We offer one-day events each semester and a 3 day, 2 night summer workshop on the main K-State campus in Manhattan, KS for middle school students. All events focus on the role of scientists, engineers, and other STEM professionals in making the world a better place.
Information about our events and programs, including how to register, can be found on our Events page.
