Fall 2021 Update

KAWSE takes health and safety very seriously. While we plan to return to in-person programming in August 2021, we will continue to monitor the on-going COVID-19 pandemic and will follow all guidance from the university, KDHE and CDC. KAWSE staff can be reached Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM by emailing kawse@k-state.edu or calling 785-532-6088.

GROW: Girls Researching Our World

GROW, or Girls Researching Our World, is designed for all students in sixth through eighth grades. The goal of the program is to increase girls' interest in

  • science,
  • technology,
  • engineering
  • and mathematics (STEM) disciplines.

Students of all genders are welcome to participate in hands-on activities presented by undergraduate and graduate students and faculty. We offer one-day events and a summer workshop on the main K-State campus in Manhattan, KS. All events focus on the role of scientists, engineers, and other STEM professionals in making the world a better place.

Information about our events and programs, including how to register, can be found on our Upcoming Events page.

If you would like to receive email updates on programs and events, including our monthly newsletter, please contact us at kawse@k-state.edu.
