SAS Licenses
K-State has a license program with the SAS Institute to provide SAS Education Analytic Suite software to currently affiliated faculty, staff and students. The SAS 9.4 suite can only be downloaded to Windows machines. Each license may be installed on up to two computers but cannot be used concurrently. Teaching & Research (T&R) licenses are to be used for classroom instruction, academic (non-commercial) research, and coursework (including the formulation of theses and dissertations). Administrative licenses are to be used for institutional research for reporting purposes.
The suite cannot be downloaded to Mac machines. Mac users must access the suite via an university computing lab or use SAS OnDemand for Academics via a web browser. High performance tasks, such as HP Linear Regression, HP Logistic Regression, Recency, Frequency, Monetary Analysis, CAS and Viya, are not available in the online version.
Application Versions
- The current version is SAS 9.4, which works with all currently supported Windows operating systems.
Licensing Fees
The annual license fee is $150, covering the period from August 1 – July 31.
