Cultivating a culture of well-being

K-State is defining its future as a next-generation land-grant institution and establishing itself as a positive force in Kansas and the world. It starts by investing in the dedicated faculty and staff who make our goals possible. K-State champions a culture of satisfaction, engagement, opportunity, improvement and innovation.

Together with our next-gen strategic plan, we have the foundation needed to build a culture of well-being that lasts.

We're on a mission to become an employer of choice in Kansas and higher education. Faculty and Staff Well-being provides initiatives, programs and opportunities for employees to prioritize their physical, emotional, social and financial health. Well-being is about empowering ourselves and our community to create a K-State that's always people-centered. Whether you're ready to recharge, refocus, reconnect or just hit pause — let's realize our full potential together!

Eat healthy, the "Med Way"

Human Resources' Faculty and Staff Well-being, in collaboration with K-State Extension, invites university employees to attend Mediterranean-inspired cooking demonstrations. This event will be held once a month from September to February.

The "Med Way" features whole-grain, heart-smart recipes for all cooking levels. Each session includes a tasting opportunity so that attendees can experience the flavors firsthand.

Please register to attend upcoming sessions. If you can't join us in person, watch live on Zoom. Zoom recordings will also be made available.

September webinars

As part of our commitment to holistic well-being, we invite faculty and staff to join upcoming webinars this September, in recognition of National Suicide Prevention Month and Healthy Aging Month.
