Emotional well-being reflects the capacity to manage stress effectively, maintain perspective and engage in positive, respectful relationships. In the workplace, it contributes to psychological safety, collaboration, productivity and overall engagement.

Supporting emotional well-being fosters a culture where individuals can thrive personally and professionally.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a service provided for State of Kansas benefits-eligible employees and their dependents at no charge. The EAP provides information, short-term counseling, advice and referrals from licensed professionals who understand the typical stresses we all face day to day.

ComPsych webinars and huddles

ComPsych is K-State's employee assistance provider. Employees have access to training and resources to prioritize their well-being.

To better support you, ComPsych has increased the number of Huddles, Huddle Practices and Huddle Webinars available on GuidanceResources.com throughout March. These live offerings are designed to provide practical tools, connection, and support during periods of uncertainty.

Topics include support around:

  • Coping with stress and uncertainty
  • Self-care and resilience
  • Relaxation and grounding practices
  • Managing worry and emotional fatigue

There is no limit to the number of Huddles an individual may attend. Please note that the live Huddle calendar displays up to 30 days in advance, and additional sessions will continue to be added.
