Live. Learn. Bloom.
The Gardens at Kansas State University are a horticulture display garden that was established as an educational resource and learning laboratory for K-State students and the visiting public. The Gardens are a privately funded project, located on the K-State campus. When completed, The Gardens will be a 19-acre garden, designed to show hardscape and tested ornamental plant material in different aesthetic settings. The site is being developed and maintained by the K-State Department of Horticulture and Natural Resources.
The Gardens project will allow students to be actively involved in the ongoing development, maintenance and operation of this world-class garden. In addition to the hands-on learning experiences for students in the horticulture program, students from other programs such as engineering; landscape architecture; apparel, textiles, and interior design; and art will all play a part in The Gardens' development.
The Gardens have become a popular choice for wedding day events.
You will find three specialty gardens and four plant collections that are woven together to create The Gardens at Kansas State University. Make arrangements for a tour.
Plan to stay a while and wander amongst a rainbow of colors in our Daylily, Iris, Peony, and Rose Collections.
