Poinsettia and Amaryllis Bulb Sale - 2026

The 2026 Friends of the Gardens poinsettia and amaryllis bulb sale is online and in-person. There are red, white and pink poinsettias with foil color options of silver, gold, green, purple and red. Also, there will be 10" round poinsettia centerpieces and amaryllis without foil.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Gardens to help defray expenses for student labor, plantings, and necessary materials.

• Pick up - select a pick up time!!!
• Pick up location - plants will be distributed from the loading dock at the rear of the Gardens Visitor Center at 1500 Denison Ave. Signs in the parking lot will direct you to the loading dock.

Students in the K-State Greenhouse Operations Management class produce poinsettias and amaryllis in the Throckmorton Plant Sciences Greenhouse complex each fall semester. Hands-on production allows students to learn about light and temperature manipulation, and nutrient and greenhouse environment management. The students are responsible for all production decisions and practices.
