Park Management and Conservation

Park management and conservation combines the study of biological and natural sciences with communications, management, and social sciences. Park professionals must understand the relationship between the natural environment and human activities. They must also have an understanding of the social, economic, and political factors influencing use of natural resources. Graduates work as park rangers, naturalists, planners, and directors and in other areas of natural resource management.
