New Hires with the Career Center

September 5, 2023 — The Career Center is pleased to announce recent hires and responsibility changes within the department. New to the team are Christopher Anderson, Paulicia Bender and Tiffany Coetzee. Christopher and Paulicia have assumed roles as Assistant Directors. Christopher serves as the liaison to the College of Engineering. Paulicia will serve as liaison to the College of Architecture, Planning and Design and provide expanded career advising support for students in the College of Arts and Sciences. Tiffany will serve as a career advisor and liaison to the College of Education.

Christopher joins K-State after serving most recently as a Career and Employer Relations Specialist with Georgia State University. Christopher is from Missouri and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Emporia State University and a master’s degree from University of Central Missouri.

Paulicia has been employed with K-State since 2018 as a student services coordinator with TRIO Educational Supportive Services. Paulicia brings valuable career advising experience after previously working with Flint Hills Job Corps. Paulicia is a K-State graduate with a degree in sociology.

Tiffany has an extensive career in education serving most recently as coordinator of clinical experiences in teacher education services at Iowa State University. Tiffany has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Kansas and a master’s degree in education from Walden University.

In addition to these new hires, the Career Center promoted Anthony YBarra to Associate Director. Anthony has been with the Career Center since 2011 and will assume new responsibilities for employer operations and center-wide management.

Students can meet in-person or online with Christopher, Paulicia, Tiffany, and other Career Center advisors by appointment. Faculty and staff are also encouraged to reach out to their Career Center liaison. We welcome the opportunity to facilitate presentations or create activities to support the career readiness of all K-State students.
