Students Are Invited to the Fashion Career Meet-Up
January 31, 2022 – The Career Center invites students to attend the Fashion Career Meet-Up from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 4. This event will be held virtually through the Remo platform. There is no registration needed and all majors are welcome. Details about the event and more information about the Remo platform can be found through the Career Meet-Up webpage.
This event will be a come-and-go, virtual and informal event. Students are encouraged to take a look at the event details in Handshake to see which employers will be attending. Industry representatives will be around virtual tables and students will be able to approach tables of interest as they please. Clicking on a particular table will bring students to a conversation room with that industry representative. This is the first Fashion Career Meet-Up that the Career Center is hosting with its partners in the Fashion Studies program, making this a unique opportunity to meet and make connections with industry contacts through this kind of event.
“The intention of this event is for students to network within their industry and make good connections and relationships. Building relationships is important when it comes to a future career,” said Teresa Parks, Career Center Assistant Director and liaison to the College of Health and Human Sciences.
