Students are required to declare a major and move out of Exploratory by the time they have completed 60 credit hours. We recommend you aim to choose a major before the end of your first year. However, some students do not make their decision about a major until the end of their second year, and most of these students will still be able to graduate in about four years.

Secondary majors and minors are additions to your primary major. These are completely options. You can discuss minors and secondary majors with your Academic Advisor or explore the options that are available.

If you have already decided to add a secondary major or minor, you should g to the office where the program is housed in order to complete the necessary paperwork. (For example: To add a minor in English, go to the English Department.)
