Lauren is proud to be a K-State student and has loved using the resources available to her despite the stigma that may be associated with it. “A lot of students don't talk about tutoring because in high school it was looked down on to need a tutor. In college, if you want to succeed, you may need help from tutoring.” She has always been a resilient and determined student.
Being dismissed from K-State didn’t stop Martay Van Wey from being successful and working hard towards her goals! She has overcome many challenges and has showcased bravery and resiliency.
Ryan Littlejohn is a resilient student that overcame the lack of motivation Covid brought to everyone. He discovered resources that were available to K-State students and started thriving again. Telling yourself it's okay to use the resources is a great first step!

As an international student Alina Sadykova has faced many challenges. Through Covid, she was away from her family, her daughter couldn’t go to school and be with her friends, and she was working on her master's degree the entire time. She has utilized many K-State resources in her time here to help her and her daughter stay motivated and take care of themselves.
