This is a list of the Kansas laws defining and prohibiting sexual and domestic violence.
In 1996, President Clinton signed Megan’s Law into legislation. This law requires registration and community notification of sex offenders. To do a search of sex offenders click on Registered Sex Offenders.
Kansas Victim’s Bill of Rights (K.S.A. 74-7333)
In 1992 Kansas ratified an amendment for victim’s rights. The amendment ensures the fair and compassionate treatment of victims of crime and seeks to increase the effectiveness of the criminal justice system by affording victims of crime certain basic rights and consideration.
