Nationally Competitive Scholarships
Welcome to the Office of Nationally Competitive Scholarships at Kansas State University. I advise all students interested in nationally and internationally competitive scholarships. Please come see me if you have questions or would like to talk about possible opportunities. You should consult with your department and/or Student Financial Assistance if you seek money awarded by K-State.
K-State has a proud tradition of our students competing for national scholarships; and in fact, these students, supported by the faculty and staff who mentor them, have achieved notable success. Read about our National Scholars to learn more about that record of success.

1. The campus deadline for the Fulbright U.S. Student Grant is August 31, 2018. A completed draft of the national application is due to 215 Fairchild Hall by that date.
2, The campus deadline for the Boren Scholarship is January 11, 2019. Interested students are encouraged to talk me as early as possible in the fall semester since students need a fully formed study abroad plan at the time of application.
