To Whom May Find This Letter,
Something has gone terrible wrong! I was working on my futuristic time traveling car and had just the right coordinates set. I was going to travel to the year 5571 and see what amazing advancements have taken place. But somehow the numbers were reversed and I was taken back to the year 1755! The car won’t start back up and all I have is this little letter transporter, that’s how you found this letter. To make things worse I landed in some really old Catholic church in Salzburg. I don’t know where Salzburg is! I keep hearing voices talking about lent, I checked my jeans pockets and I don’t have any! What am I supposed to do? I don’t know anything about this time period. I need your help in finding out what it was like to live in 1755. If you can send me some hints then maybe I can try to fit in until I can fix my car. Here’s hoping that found this letter.
Desperately In Need of Help,
S.T. Uckintime

Your mission is to advise S.T. Uckntime as to the best way to fit in during the year 1755. To do that, you must describe the situation that S.T. Uckntime has found himself in. Describe to him where Salzburg is, what he should wear, what musical events he can attend, what Lent really is, and what he should eat or should not eat during Lent. Hopefully the information you provide him will give him enough time to “fit” in while he his working on his car. Let’s hope that he can do without until you have researched the information.

DID S.T. UCKNTIME MAKE IT THROUGH ALIVE?
To The Wonderful People Who Helped Me Out,
Thanks to your research and help, I was able to successfully “fit in.” I felt like a regular with the community. Except for the fact they were speak German and I don’t. But that is a minor detail. I really enjoyed my stay here in Austria. I finally fixed my car; it took awhile because no one had a compact laser for sell. Can you believe those people? Talk about living in the Baroque Times. Anyway, I am finally heading to the year 5517, let’s just hope I don’t have to send any more letters.
Thanks for the help again,
S.T. Uckntime
