Welcome from the Director

Jeff WardI am excited about joining the Kansas State University School of Music, Theatre, and Dance! I am so impressed with the faculty, students, and facilities and being a part of a university that has such a long, rich history of world-class performing arts. The school is home to over 500 majors and minors and over fifty faculty and staff. Over 4,000 K-State students participate in our programs and we have countless patrons and visitors at our hundreds of events throughout the year.

The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance offers in-depth, quality, individualized instruction from world-class faculty in the performing arts. Our faculty have performed and taught around the world and they bring their vast experience and expertise to the students at Kansas State University and the community at large. We are dually housed in the McCain and Nichols Halls, where you will find state of the art performing, classroom, rehearsal, studio, shop, and laboratory spaces.

Please take the time to examine our website and learn more about this very special place! If you ever have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me, our faculty, or staff. Whatever your career and education goals, the School of Music, Theatre and Dance at Kansas State can help you achieve them!

Sincerely,
JW Signature
