Monday, June 16 - Lunch at the K-State Alumni Center.

Menu: Chicken Enchiladas, Spanish Rice, Broiled Tomato Espanol, Tortilla Chips with Cheese Sauce, Black Bean & Corn Salad, Southwest Cole Slaw, Fresh Fruit, Dessert: Raspberry Sherbet with Churros

Tuesday, June 17 - Picnic in City Park. Enjoy an informal evening of fun and great food . The Music Education Symposium Members will perform with City Band! A composition is being commissioned by Aldo Forte for chorus and band for this event

Menu: Fried Chicken;Mashed Potatoes with Gravy; Creamed Corn; Cole Slaw; Biscuits with Butter and Preserves; Iced Tea and Lemonade

Wednesday, June 18 - Banquet at the K-State Alumni Center. Meet this year's recipients of our Dick Mason scholarship. At this banquet is the annual silent auction. Symposium participants donate items to be auctioned for funds that support music education scholarships.

Menu: Texas Beef Brisket, BBQ Chicken, Potato Salad, Drunkin' Apples, Corn Bread Muffin, Dessert: Bread Pudding

Thursday, June 19 - Performance of a new children's music by Jill and Michael Galena. This performance represents a collaborative effort of Kansas State University Division of Music Education and College of Education, the Manhattan School District, and Shawnee Press Publications. (The Galenas will be with the symposium all week)
