Multimedia and Video

K-State ITS offers a variety of services to help you plan, produce, edit and distribute video.

Audio/Video encoding and editing
Video can be encoded into a variety of formats, including formats for Internet steaming, CD and DVD formats. Editing can also be done to enhance the presentation of your educational content.

Audio/video equipment checkout
Digital video camcorders, tripods, audio recorders and other audio visual equipment is available for checkout to students, faculty and staff for no charge with a K-State ID.

Broadcasting and distribution
Fixed and mobile K?-band satellite uplink services can bounce analog signals into space for reception and viewing anywhere and can feed live or taped programs, segments, or raw footage to almost anywhere in the United States equipped with an K?-band dish and receiver.

CD/DVD duplication
CDs and DVDs can be created for course video CDs, conference proceedings, Tegrity content, meeting handouts and many other educational projects.

Live audio/video Webcasting
Audio/video feed can be set up on location and provided as a live stream in Real Media.

Podcast technical help, creation and delivery
Get help creating, editing and distributing podcasts. Podcasts can be used to distribute lectures and other course work and information so that students can access and listen outside of the classroom.

Remote production
A skilled crew with a mobile production unit has everything needed to shoot, edit, generate titles, ensure good audio, and monitor and switch between multiple camera feeds on-site.

Video and audio conferencing
Electronically link geographically dispersed participants so that they can see and hear each other in a live and interactive environment.

Video production for television
Pre-production, production and post-production services include everything from planning, budgeting, lighting and recording to editing.
