Kansas State University invites applications for a position at the rank of temporary
instructor
to begin in the 2012-2013 academic year with a possibility of reappointment contingent
upon
availability of funding and need for services. Ph.D. or ABD is preferred, M.A. or
ABD is
required. Teaching load will involve four classes per semester (12-hour teaching load),
with a
possible course reduction for service activities. Some involvement in the principles
course will
be required. Primary criterion for selection is evidence of outstanding teaching performance,
preferably with experience in large classes. Please send letter of application, vita,
