Postdoctoral Position(s) in Computational Biophysics

One or two Research Associate positions will be available in the
Computational Biochemistry & Biophysics Group in the Department of
Biochemistry at Kansas State University. For information on our

The ideal candidate must have:
- Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, or related fields
- Extensive experience with CHARMM and/or other major general
purpose biomolecular modeling packages
- Published records in biomolecular modeling and simulation
Successful applicants will also have an excellent general knowledge
and understanding of biophysics, computation and biomolecular
modeling. An ideal candidate would be technically competent, with
excellent computational skills, familiarity with UNIX environments,
and strong programming and scripting ability. S/He must also
display exceptional motivation with a passion for science, and the
ability and desire to work both independently and as part of a
team. Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
Screening of applications begins 12/28/2009 and continues until the
position(s) are filled. The initial appointment is for one year.
