Scholarship Information

The Department of Biochemistry has funds through KSU Foundation from which scholarships are awarded. From the Barlow, Bates, Burkhard, Havley, Hughes, and Merrill funds several scholarships of $500 are awarded annually. These awards are renewable for recipients that continue as Biochemistry majors and remain in good academic standing (3.5 GPA or higher).

How to Apply

1. Have Biochemistry as a declared major.

2. Submit a University Scholarship Application to the Office of Student Financial Assistance. The application is available on the Student Financial Aid scholarship page. student financial assistance scholarship website.

Criteria

Applicants are reviewed and selected for their outstanding academic record and interest in the field of biochemistry. Awards are typically made to high school graduates with outstanding GPAs and ACT scores as well as outstanding continuing biochemistry students.
