Started as an informal meeting between 25 students and faculty members to chart the institution's future with radio, WØQQQ—also known as the K.S.A.C. Radio Club, the Kansas State Radio Club, the Kansas State College Radio Club, the K-State Radio Club, the Kansas State Amateur Radio Club, the K-State Amateur Radio Club, KSUARC, and W9QQQ—has been active since 1922, making it one of Kansas State University's oldest student organizations.
