Notes and considerations

  • The Radio Club formalized as a student organization with distinct roles as of 1938.
  • Titles for similar roles have been preserved as declared (eg. Adviser/Sponsor, Officer/Operator)
  • Club members prior to the 1960s have been identified, when possible, using archival materials.
  • During the 1960s and 1970s, only member names were recorded in the club ledger.
  • Amateur Radio activity was suspended during World War II, affecting club operations and membership.
  • The COVID-19 pandemic led to university closure and social distancing, affected club operations and membership.
