Applications open for K-State Blue Key scholarships
Applications for the various scholarships offered by K-State Blue Key are open on OrgCentral.
Scholarships are awarded each year to student leaders on campus. Read the descriptions on the Blue Key website to see any preferences for recipients, such as underrepresented or first-generation students, College of Engineering students, graduate students and students planning to study abroad over the next academic year. Students can apply for more than one scholarship, and finalists will interview for one award.
The scholarships include the Bernard Franklin Opportunity Scholarship; Robert Lewis Sophomore Leadership Award; Neal Atkinson Junior Leadership Scholarship; Chester E. Peters Student Development Award; Roy C. Langford Memorial Scholarship; Greg Hardin Memorial Scholarship; the Walter Martin Memorial Scholarship; Blue Key Study Abroad Scholarship; and Dr. Pat J. Bosco Graduate Student Scholarship.
More information about each of these scholarships can be found on the Blue Key's Scholarships website.
Applications will close at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1. Students will be notified if they are invited to an interview by Friday, March 10.
Interviews will take place from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28.
