Join graduate student writing group

Submitted by Bailee Irwin

The fall Grad Wildcats Write series to support graduate students in taking charge of their writing skills and habits continues with another graduate student writing group from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Nov. 4.

The writing group will be in the Writing Center in 122D English/Counseling Services Building. The writing group provides graduate students with dedicated time and space to make progress on writing projects. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Students who plan to attend are asked to register in advance in OrgCentral.

The Grad Wildcats Write series is offered by a partnership among the Graduate School, the English department, and the Writing Center. Recordings of Grad Wildcats Write workshops on Aug. 25 and Sept. 13 are available on the Graduate Student Council Professional Development site.

Additional information about the Grad Wildcats Write series can be found on the GSC Professional Development site and in OrgCentral. Questions may be directed to Megan Miller, Graduate School student success coordinator, at mmmiller@k-state.edu, or Theresa Merrick Cassidy, Writing Center assistant director, at tmcassidy@k-state.edu
