New social transformation studies major in KSIS
Students can now officially declare the new social transformation studies major in KSIS.
In the social transformation studies major you:
- Develop skills that are both desirable to employers and vital for bringing about social justice.
- Learn about social movements and create new solutions to social problems.
- Become culturally competent and develop critical thinking and writing skills.
American ethnic studies and gender, women, and sexuality studies have merged to become the social transformation studies department.
Within the major, you can choose a track of American ethnic studies or gender, women, and sexuality studies.
