McCain Performance Series announces free ticket program for K-State students

Submitted by Todd Holmberg

All K-State students who pay the student services fee as part of their tuition on the Manhattan campus are eligible to receive one free ticket on a first-come, first-served basis per McCain Performance Series show until the program's funding is exhausted.

Free tickets for students are supported by the K-State student services fee up to the funding cap. The fee is governed by the Student Governing Association. After the funding is depleted, no further student discounts will be available from McCain Auditorium.

Current K-State student IDs are required when obtaining a ticket from the McCain Ticket Services Office. Current K-State student IDs are also required when presenting the ticket upon entering a show. This free ticket program only applies to shows in the McCain Performance Series. Limit: One ticket per current K-State ID per show while supplies last.

The free student tickets are available in person only at the Ticket Services Office starting Wednesday, Aug. 24. Free tickets for this program are not available by phone or online. Beginning Aug. 24, the McCain Ticket Services Office will be open noon to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays. McCain Auditorium is working with its third-party ticketing software company to make tickets available online and will notify the student body when accessing this program online becomes available. Previous purchases are not eligible for refunds.
