Tamale sale to benefit hospitality students

Submitted by College of Health and Human Sciences

On Friday, April 22, Lacy’s Fresh Fare and Catering will be selling homemade tamales. Choose from beef, chicken and vegetable tamales in half-dozen or dozen orders. A half-dozen is $8 and a dozen is $15, plus tax.

Those interested can visit Lacy’s between 2-5 p.m. on Friday or place your pre-order by emailing lacysfreshfareKSU@k-state.edu. This is a cash or check-only sale. No credit cards will be accepted.

Profits from the tamale sales will directly benefit hospitality management students through the Hospitality Management Club. Funds are raised to allow members to learn about and experience the hospitality industry via guest speakers, on-site visits to Kansas businesses, national conferences and trade shows.

If you have questions, please contact Ericka Bauer.
