Performance by Grammy winner Terence Blanchard tonight at McCain Auditorium

Submitted by Jennifer Harlan

Don't miss "Presence of Absence: Gordon Parks Through an Empathic Lens" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 7, in McCain Auditorium.

Enjoy the musical stylings of Terence Blanchard and the E-Collective paired with a video montage of Gordon Parks’ photographs. Matthew Gaynor, Kansas State University professor of graphic design, and artist Andrew F. Scott, associate professor at the University of Texas, Dallas, worked with K-State students to compile and design the evening’s virtual backdrop.

This multimedia concert experience is free to attend, but tickets are required and will be available at the McCain ticket office.

The special performance is offered by the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art in collaboration with McCain Auditorium.
