Burrack and Schellpfeffer present at Higher Learning Commission national conference

Frederick Burrack, director of assessment, and Shane Schellpfeffer, associate director of assessment, presented two sessions at the Annual Conference for the Higher Learning Commission, or HLC, in Chicago.
The first session, presented both in-person and made available online, focused on "Determining Institutional Effectiveness Through Program-based Assessments." The second was an open discussion on how to successfully complete designated processes for the Open Pathway Comprehensive Evaluation. This session answered questions focusing on K-State's experience and lessons learned during our current HLC accreditation.
