File for Student Governing Association elections, deadline is Feb. 11

Submitted by Maggie Billman

The filing deadline for students seeking office for Student Governing Association elections is 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11. SGA will be holding elections for student body president and vice president, student senate, Collegian Media Group Student Advisory Committee and Union Governing Board.

SGA is your opportunity to make your mark on K-State by helping decide where student services fee funding is allocated, making policy and working with the administration to make campus better. Beyond leaving a legacy at K-State, SGA is a place to make friends and collaborate with fellow students in an inclusive and supportive environment.

If you're interested in running for a position, you can file for the election on KSIS under the compass icon, selecting "Navigator," then "Self Service," and finally "Student Government Elections," or follow the link at k-state.edu/elections.

If you have any questions about running or the elections process email Reed Krewson, elections commissioner, at rgkrewson@k-state.edu
