Kansas State University continues to provide updates in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The following is a summary of announcements from Oct. 18-22.

Updates continue to be posted on the COVID-19 website, which includes guidance and frequently asked questions about the return to university campuses. 

President and provost will host a virtual town hall meeting Oct. 22 for faculty and staff. 
President Richard Myers and Provost Charles Taber will host the next virtual town hall meeting for faculty and staff from 9-10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 22, via YouTube live. Planned discussions include updates on COVID-19. 

Course policy and student success reminders.
In a PDF memorandum, Provost Charles Taber reminds the campus of expectations for course policy and student success practices that should continue even as we see improvement in COVID-19 statistics. 

K-State is offering COVID-19 vaccination incentives for faculty and staff. 
K-State faculty and staff can win prizes — including Apple Watches, Apple MacBook Pros, K-State Union gift cards and more — by getting the COVID-19 vaccination.

Lafene Health Center continues offering COVID-19 vaccines.
Lafene Health Center continues to offer COVID-19 vaccine opportunities for students, faculty and staff. Appointments are required and can be made on the myLafene+ patient portal or by calling 785-532-6544.

K-Staters can voluntarily upload their COVID-19 vaccine cards.
K-State students, faculty and staff are encouraged to voluntarily upload their COVID-19 vaccine cards to the myLafene+ patient portal. By uploading the cards, K-Staters can help Lafene Health Center continue to track vaccination rates at the university.

The university continues to track and evaluate COVID-19 data in our community.
