Wildcat Leadership Conference Oct. 17

Submitted by Kassi Akers

Looking to grow your leadership skills? Want to surround yourself with others hoping to do the same? Join the Student Development Committee within Housing and Dining Services for the Wildcat Leadership Conference from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, in Kramer Dining Center.

This year, the theme of the conference is "Planting Seeds of Leadership," as we are all aware of this year is one of growth and opportunity. The conference will feature three sessions focusing on: leadership in inclusive environments, leadership in wellness and leadership in group settings.

Sara Heiman, assistant director for leadership with the Center for Student Involvement, will share her own journey of becoming a leader as the keynote speaker of the event. We will end the day planting our own seeds of leadership by potting plants and snacking on pizza (optional).

If you are interested in joining this free event, please register online.

We hope to see you there!
