K-State Student Veterans' Center renamed Military Affiliated Resource Center

Submitted by Kevin Nalette

K-State’s Non-Traditional and Veteran Student Services office has renamed the K-State Student Veterans’ Center. The center will now be known as the Military Affiliated Resource Center, or MARC.

The naming convention captures the entire student population we serve in the center. We provide resources for veterans, active duty, National Guard and Reserve members, military-connected family members and ROTC cadets. The name change also aligns K-State campuses servicing this student population, as the K-State Salina Aerospace and Technology campus already uses the MARC terminology.

Be sure to stop by the center on the second floor of the K-State Union in room 217. The center includes a quiet study area, collaboration space and computer lab for your use.
