K-State will continue in-person operations
On Wednesday, Aug. 25, Gov. Laura Kelly issued guidance directing state agencies to resume remote operations where possible. The order applies to state agencies under the control of the governor and does not apply to Kansas State University or its employees.
The university will continue to base decisions on medical guidance and is taking steps for a safe semester as all Wildcats return to campuses. The temporary face mask requirement will remain for campuses while the host counties are in high or substantial transmission status according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention COVID-19 data tracker. K-State is committed to continuing an in-person semester while keeping every Wildcat a Wellcat.
K-State will continue to post updates and the latest guidance on the COVID-19 website at k-state.edu/covid-19.
