Education Abroad Week events, Feb. 1-5

Education Abroad is hosting an Education Abroad Week, including a two-day virtual fair and various info sessions throughout next week, Feb. 1-5. See below for the schedule of events and registration details. Any students interested in studying, interning, or volunteering abroad are invited to attend and or all events! All sessions will be hosted virtually.

  • Monday, Feb. 1 and Tuesday, Feb. 2, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Spring Education Abroad Fair
    Register for the virtual fair to learn about education abroad opportunities, get matched with programs best suited for you, and log in during these hours to chat with Education Abroad staff and representatives from our partners. 

  • Wednesday, Feb. 3, 9-10 a.m.: KSU in London information session 
    Join Education Abroad staff and our partners from Academic Programs International to learn about our new London summer program, open to students of all majors. Register online for the session.

  • Thursday, Feb. 4, 11 a.m. to noon: "KSU in Costa Rica" information session
    Join Education Abroad staff and our partners from Academic Programs International to learn about the new Costa Rica summer and semester program, open to students of all majors. Register online for the session.

  • Friday, Feb. 5, 11 a.m. to noon: Pell Grant-eligible students are invited to attend an information session on the Gilman scholarship, which awards up to $8,000 scholarships for Pell-eligible students to study or intern abroad. Register online for the session.

  • Friday, Feb. 5, noon to 1 p.m.: All students are invited to attend a general Education Abroad Scholarships information session to learn about various opportunities to help fund a program abroad. Register online for the session

Additionally, this semester virtual Education Abroad 101 sessions will take place from 2-2:30 p.m. every Tuesday-Thursday, followed by drop-in advising from 2:30-3 p.m. Join us for one of these sessions by using the Zoom link
