Katt recognized for outstanding service in public health promotion

Megan Katt, registered dietitian and health educator at Lafene Health Center and the advisor to Lafene's WellCAT Ambassadors, has been selected as the recipient of the prestigious 2020 Virginia Lockhart Health Education Award from the Kansas Public Health Association. This award is given for outstanding service in public promotion of health and/or environmental issues.

This year, the Kansas Public Health Association is celebrating 100 years of amazing work in Kansas. Katt will be recognized at the association's annual conference awards ceremony from 8-9:30 a.m. CST Thursday, Nov. 19, which will be via Zoom. The conference is free. Those who want to attend should RSVP by Nov. 10.
