Protect your family and friends by participating in asymptomatic testing

Submitted by Lafene Health Center

Kansas State University is inviting students to schedule COVID-19 tests before leaving for fall and winter breaks. Departure testing is optional and by appointment only, and is offered to students at no cost. Appointments can be made at Lafene Health Center through the myLafene+ patient portal or by calling 785-532-6544. Students are asked to be tested at least three days before their planned departure dates to receive their results in time.

The final day of in-person classes is Friday, Nov. 20. K-State will move entirely online for the last two weeks of the fall semester to reduce the risk for students, their families and their communities by reducing the need to travel.

Students should be vigilant as Nov. 20 draws closer, minimize interactions with others and avoid large gatherings to curtail the potential spread of COVID-19.
