New transcript procedure

Submitted by Office of the Registrar

Effective with the beginning of the spring 2013 term, the "hold for grades" transcript option will be removed from the ordering options. With the ability for students to view their grades in iSIS after the final grade posting and with the flexibility of the Kansas State University online transcript ordering system to allow access for ordering 24/7, the student is the best one to determine when all their grades are ready for a transcript to be sent.

With this change in procedure, students can order their transcripts being confident their transcript is complete and ready for processing. Currently enrolled students will still be able to order transcripts after grades post at no charge, which falls within the deadline of 14 days after the last day of finals. Students who are graduating have the option of “hold for degree” to obtain a transcript at no charge. Information about transcripts can be found on the Office of the Registrar's Web page: http://www.k-state.edu/registrar/t_v/
