Continuation of K-State Libraries' services for students

Submitted by Cailin Riley

During the suspension of in-person classes, K-State Libraries will continue to provide services and resources to students.

While all Libraries locations will be closed to the public, several resources are available online for research materials and can be accessed remotely. Some resources will require users to log in with their K-State eID and passwords.

Interlibrary Loan will continue to process requests for materials; however, some requests may be delayed if the libraries that hold those items are closed.

Librarians and staff are available by email or chat to answer research questions or to provide help with using online resources. Chat services will be available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. For general questions, use our Ask A Librarian service. To contact your subject librarian, email them directly. Research Guides are also available; these guides are divided by subject and can help you navigate the best ways to find articles and research related to your class.

If you have an item that is due, but you are not able to return it, please renew that item online by logging in to your account. If you cannot renew the item, please contact us so we can make accommodations.

Information will be added to the Libraries' continuation of services webpage as it becomes available. Students should check this page frequently for updates.
