HIV/AIDS awareness event — 30th Annual Day With(out) Art

Submitted by Brandon Haddock

The K-State English department, English-cultural studies track and the LGBT Resource Center will sponsor and screen a series of short videos, "Still Beginning," at 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in 127 Leadership Studies Building.

This series of films reflect the ongoing HIV/AIDS epidemic and how education and advocacy continue to be crucial in awareness of HIV/AIDS on a global scale. The screening will last for an hour and a short discussion will follow.

This event is part of the Visual AIDS 30th Annual Day With(out) Art program, with screenings across the globe.

All university faculty, staff and students are welcome to the viewing and to take part in the ongoing conversations.
